We have a leadership disaster, self inflcted wounds and Judical Malpractice - Economic Disaster, Housing and Transportation - Educational Disaster, Voter and Criminal Ignorance of the law - Medical disaster, Gentrification and Genocide- however,    Working Together We Can Change Things.

Issues

YOUTH: In the Roxbury and Dorchester area of 2nd Suffolk District , the high school dropout rate is 50% or higher, with unemployment even higher among this group.  Drugs are an epidemic and we need treatment on demand,  80% of the killing happen in Roxbury and Dorchester, I have been working to help elimate these conditions, but I need your help.

HOMEOWNERS: Homeowners in Roxbury and Dorchester pays some of the highest mortgage rates, property taxes and sewer rates in Boston not to mention the whole state.  I've been working with a number of individual's to bring about needed change.  Your vote for Roy Owens will make a difference in this process.

SENIOR CITIZENS: Seniors have the right to be secure in their own homes, and the City government has an obligation to proide those needed services.  Medical health care shold be a right as it is in other advanced countries around the world.  Seniors need backup services in dealing with their grandchildren, who are overloading the foster care system and can be best served and cared for in an extended family. I am determined to address these needs and with your help we shall prevail.

SAFETY: Yes we need police visibility, but we also need to lower out crime rate.  I believe that if we, the political, religious and private community, work together to combine our resources, we can begin to expland our base of operations with city funds to operate youth programs, which provide adult and youth job opportunities which will help lower the crime rate. 

TEATMENT ON DEMAND: Abortion and genocide has become a way of life, especially with our youth where no one gets concerned anymore.  We need to put forth a serious campaign to help educate and save lives.  Our youth is our future.  drugs and Aids are an epidemic in the community of color.  We need help for the hurting and hope for the destitute.
